IND vs AUS first T20 was the heartbreaking defeat for team India. Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik nearly pulled off a memorable chase for India but Australia won by 4 runs.

Australia scored 158/4 off 17 overs at had to end their innings due to heavy showers that prevented the last three overs from being played. The revised D/L target for Team India was then raised to 174 in 17 overs. Chasing a revised target of 174 in 17 overs, India put in brave efforts.

Indian Cricket Team Skipper Virat Kohli told that a lot of Indians came in to support them which is always the case anywhere they play. It was a close game and is an exciting one for the crowd to watch and for the players as well. It was a ‘see-saw battle’.

Kohli said that India started well with the bat, fumbled in the middle overs and in the end they thought they will win with Pant and Karthik but it changed again with Pant's dismissal.

Virat Kohli told that Shikhar Dhawan is a very strong player at the top of the order. He has not got a T20 century yet, but the way he plays it really benefits the team. That's how it goes in the game.

Kohli further added, "What we can do is learn from the mistakes and get back better. On the day, if we can have three-four guys to stand up for the team, that's what we want. Don't have much time to think of things, which can be a good thing as well as a bad thing,"
