My action research in understanding the Akshaya hygiene mobile app will entail a lot of activities, and together they will assist me to determine its advantages and benefits for shoppers as well as how it has shaped the market. The activities that will be undertaken in the period include developing the research instrument (such as interview and survey questions, data collection resources, etc.), sampling procedures, data collection and analysis, literature review and report writing and research completion, report review and submission. These activities will be undertaken in four iterations of an action research as shown in the figure below. The action research refers to an approach that got developed with the purpose of enhancing the learning experience by leveraging a participatory inquiry process. Researchers use this methodology in solving everyday problems in the institutions or organizations in which they are working as they also enhance their individual practice effectiveness. Each of the four iterations will undergo four phases namely plan, act, observe and reflect. The application of these phases in each of the iterations will offer me an opportunity to gain extensive knowledge that will, in turn, assist in understanding and evaluating the Akshaya hygiene mobile app.

 Iteration 1: Brainstorming for Akshaya hygiene mobile app

In this iteration, I plan on gathering as much relevant information about Akshaya hygiene mobile app as possible. I plan to use the various research instruments such as interview and survey questions and data collection resources to collect information about the usability of Akshaya hygiene mobile app in online shopping and its advantages. The action will entail meeting the customers using the mobile app on their mobile gadgets that include smartphones and tablets. I will then present to them survey questions and also undertake interviews so that I acquire as much information as possible. I will then observe and reflect on the action undertake in the previous phase.

Iteration 2: Learning Skills and competence for Akshaya hygiene mobile app

In the second iteration, I plan to learn skills of developing a mobile web application as well as determine the advantage related to using the Akshaya hygiene mobile app compared to other ways of shopping or online sites. The action will entail meeting with mobile app developers who will assist me understand how to conduct a web-based application development and analysis.

Iteration 3: Understanding the Analysis and Design for Akshaya hygiene mobile app

In the third iteration, I plan to understand the analysis and design of the Akshaya hygiene mobile app through designing and testing its use with the help of its developers. The iteration will follow all the four phases of action research so as to achieve the objective of the research. The analysis will assist in determining potential areas that may be improved so as to improve customer experience.

Iteration 4: Real Time Applications for Akshaya hygiene mobile app

In the iteration four, I plan to learn the real-time applications of the Akshaya hygiene mobile app in a real-time industrial development. I plan to determine the particular products that the public purchases most using the mobile app. I plan to understand the benefits and contributions of the mobile app. In the action phase, I will consult mobile phone users, whether they use of do not use the mobile app and eventually observe and reflect on the outcome.
