WOW PILIPINAS is the leading tourism sector partylist and advocacy in the Philippines which champions opportunities and job creation through sustainable, quality, and modern tourism development and local community empowerment.

We endeavor to create and legislate effective, progressive and inclusive tourism initiatives so that tourism workers, professionals, service providers, entrepreneurs, businesses, and stakeholders can benefit from a robust tourism sector. In pursuing a wholistic and developmental approach to tourism, we are also a movement seeking to provide an enabling environment and basic social services (e.g. health, education, etc) which should result to the improved well-being of the communities and citizens in the tourism areas. Party list in the philippines

WHAT WE DO

LEGISLATION – as a partylist contesting seats in Congress for 2019, we hope to finally provide a voice to the millions of stakeholders in the tourism sector. We shall pursue a legislative agenda that seeks to balance the various interests of the subsectors in the industry.

OVERSIGHT - we highly value taxpayers’ money and as such, all budgets and revenues for and from tourism endeavors should be efficiently utilized and should translate to real value and benefit for the localities and residents in the tourist areas. We commit to exercise due diligence in reviewing and scrutinizing the budget allocation and utilization of all tourism agencies and duty-bearers. Leading tourism sector partylist

SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE – we understand that a successful and comprehensive tourism campaign and execution will require for as many hands on deck. To support these efforts, we will mount new projects that will be piloted in certain tourism areas and once proven viable, shall be scaled at the national level with the support of the implementing agencies concerned. We hope to pursue projects (policy, programs, training, etc) that will modernize tourism and increase the human capital and capacity of our tourism stakeholders and implementers.
