However he did make it through the last chance qualifier later aided by a big crash at the start. This gave him the opening to covert through the wreckage into the main event.

The 250SX main event started with 22 racers. Blose who started 20th quickly climbed his way up and finished seventh. The race was won by Cianciarulo leaving Nicholas behind by only nine seconds.

While on the other side in the 450SX the biggest main event of the night, Ken Roczen made a great jump at the lead but regrettably his bike slipped and he fell off in the seventh lap. Baggett when was asked of his victory he expressed his sentiments something like this, "The last five laps are a complete blur," he said. "I was looking back and forth between the timer and the finish line. I was worried I wasn't going to have enough time to make a move, but it worked out."
