Russians placed evidence from Mueller research on TwitterPosted by Maryam Yamin on January 31st, 2019 According to Planet Blog, Unknown Russians have put a link to evidence against Russian companies of special prosecutor Robert Mueller on Twitter. The hackers attempted to discredit the investigation into Russian interference in the US presidential election. This is evident from court documents submitted on Wednesday evening . The information was shared in October via an anonymous Twitter account that said it obtained the information via a hack. According to the prosecutors, the data were "distorted and disseminated as part of a disinformation campaign aimed at discrediting the investigation into Russian interference in the American political system". Mueller revealed the leak as part of his persecution of the Russian company Concord Management and Consulting. The company possibly financed hacking activities and is being prosecuted in Mueller's investigation into the allegations that Moscow was interfering with the US elections in 2016. Mueller is said to be working on the final stages of the Russian investigation. Acting Justice Minister Matthew Whitaker said this week that the Special Prosecutor is almost done. "I look forward to the final report," says Whitaker Monday at a press conference. "The research is almost complete, and I hope that we can receive the results as soon as possible." Like it?
