Clean Oven With Baking Soda

To start the cleaning process, first, you need to remove all the racks from the oven and made a paste with baking soda

1. Make Baking Soda Paste with water

Take 1 cup of baking soda and 5 tablespoons of water. Mix them together in a container and make a paste. For better consistency of paste add water accordingly. You can adjust the quantity according to your requirement or according to the size of the oven, you want to clean.

Once the paste prepares, move to the next step

2. Apply paste in the oven

Now, apply the paste over the insides of the oven with the help of clean paintbrush especially on grimy spots in the oven. while doing this make sure not to put the paste on the heating elements of the oven. You can apply this paste on glass also.

If you are done with the spreading paste in the oven. Now, move on to the third step. In this step just leave the oven overnight or for minimum 12 hours.

The thing of observation is the baking soda paste will turn in to brown this means it is absorbing the dirt and breaking the grimes.

Meanwhile, clean the oven racks. Fill sink or tub with warm water add one-fourth cup of dish soap to it. Put the oven racks in the solution for about 1-2 hours. Then wipe it off with a sponge or scouring pad.

3. Clean Paste From Oven

After 12 hours off rest completed clean the paste from the oven with help of moist dishcloth and spatula as much as possible. Use plastic or silicone spatula.

4. Spray Vinegar

Make a mixture of half cup of vinegar in 2 cups of water. Pour this mixture in a clean spray bottle. Spray this solution of vinegar to entire of the oven. This will help you to clean your oven thoroughly and clean the remaining baking soda also.

5. Dry the oven

The last step in this method of cleaning oven is drying. That you can do with the help of dishcloth or paper towel.

Clean Oven With Lemon1. Place lemon in the Baking dish

Take 2 lemons or any citrus fruit like oranges. Cut it into 2 half. Squeeze the lemon in a baking dish. keep the squeezed lemon also in the dish. Fill the dish with water around one-third of its volume.

2. Put the Baking tray in the oven

Now place the baking tray in the oven at temperature 121.1°C(250°F). Set the oven for 30 minutes at the same temperature. Lemon is a natural degreaser. Which loosen all the grime in the oven.

3. Rest for 30 minutes

After 30 minutes remove the baking dish from the oven wait till it cools down. Scrub the oven with the help of scouring pad to remove grimes from the oven.

4. Rinse the oven

At last, rinse the oven with leftover lemon extract in baking dish. Then use a moist sponge to remove remaining grimes and finally dry the oven with a paper towel or dishcloth.

Clean oven with ammonia1. Heat the oven

Turn on the oven until the temperature reaches 65°C(150°F) and then turn it off.

2. Put ammonia

Place a bowl containing a half cup of ammonia on the top shelf of the oven. Do take care of your hands because the oven is still hot. Close the oven and let it stay as it overnight.

Meanwhile, you can clean the oven racks. Just soak them in ammonia solution in warm water for a while. Scrub it with help of a sponge and the dry.

3. Remove the bowl and wipe Oven

In the next morning open the own remove the dish and let it stay for a while.

Then wipe off the grimes with a sponge using ammonia and few drops of dishwashing liquid soap diluted with water.

Clean oven with vinegar1. Remove the grates from the oven

2. Place tray in the oven with vinegar

Take a large metal baking dish. Pour around a half cup of vinegar and fill the tray with water. Place the tray in the oven.

3. Heat the oven

Heat the oven at 350°’ Let the water steam off. Turn off the oven and spray the water-vinegar solution on the oven surface. Be careful while doing this because the oven is quite hot.
