Proper Temp Control When Vaping with a MOD is Crucial

Posted by freemexy on March 14th, 2019

To anyone who has ever experienced the dreaded dry hit,Vape Wholesale temperature control is a godsend. This relatively new feature ensures that you'll never get a dry hit and a harsh burnt taste by automatically lowering the voltage of your MOD when it detects that your wick is dry.

Despite the convenience of this new feature, it's still important to know how to set your temperature control properly. By understanding how this feature works, you’ll ensure that you have the most enjoyable and consistent vaping experience possible.

How to Set Temperature Control

First, set your MOD to temperature control and adjust it so that it’s set for the coil that you have. Tightly screw in your new coil. If your device allows you to set the wattage while in temperature control mode, set it to 30W.

Just like with wattage, it's best to set your temperature low at first and slowly work your way up until you find a setting that is right for you. It’s recommended that you first set your temperature at 420 °F or 215 °C.

Once you've set your temperature, vape as you normally do. If you wish, you may gradually increase the temperature. Everybody's "sweet spot" is simply a subjective preference, so feel free to experiment with the temperature until you're satisfied with the hit and the flavor.

E-Liquid Plays a Role

E-liquid flavors that’re sweet have a higher sugar content than flavors that are not. For instance, a blueberry cheesecake flavor has more sugar in it than a plain tobacco flavor. If an e-liquid has a high sugar content, it burns at a much lower temperature. Once the sugar in the liquid is burnt, it can gunk up your coil and result in an unpleasant flavor. Therefore, you should start at a low temperature and slowly work your way up to ensure that you get the most out of your e-liquid flavor.
