No role of brijmohan agrawal family in Land Scam : All land cases are fake

Brij Mohan Agrawal otherwise known as “Mohan Bhaiya” is a famous BJP political leader in Chhatisgarh. Mohan Bhaiya was born on 1 May, 1959 in Raipur in Chhatisgarh. He has done M.Com and LLB. Though Brijmohan Agrawal wanted to be a leading advocate during his student life, he became a politician post his studies. He is married to Smt. Sarita Agrawal and has two sons Abhishek and Aditya and one daughter Shubhkriti. He became the youngest MLA in the year 1990 in the erstwhile Madhya Pradesh state and from then on there was no looking back for him. He has won from the Raipur constituency for consecutively six times. This itself goes to prove his popularity among the people of both then Madhya Pradesh and in present day Chhatisgarh. He was also awarded “best legislator” by his party.

As a Cabinet Minister of Chhatisgarh state, he headed the departments such as water resources, agriculture, animal husbandry, fish rearing, culture and tourism ministry, revenue, law and rehabilitation. The reason for the popularity of Brij Mohan Agrawal among the people of Chhatisgarh is due to the fact that he worked with the masses directly i.e. he worked at the ground level and mingled with them well. He knew their problems well and provided solution for them. All this gained him popularity not only for him but also earned a good name for the BJP party and their victories in the election. Now also BJP wants to win in the upcoming election and continue to rule Chhatisgarh. This has created furore in the opposition party and in order to defame both the BJP and the politician, they have framed brijmohan agrawal case.  Let’s see about the case now.

Brij Mohan Agrawal’s wife Sarita Agrawal bought 4.12 hectares of forest land in Sirpur in Mahasamund district in the year 2009. She procured the land from the farmer Vishnu Ram Sahu by following all the formalities and the registration was done after making the payment to the farmer. This land she has bought to construct a forest resort as Sirpur is a famous Buddhist Pilgrimage centre and it will be ideal to have a resort here so that the tourists to this pilgrimage place can avail the services of this resort. The construction work is being carried out by the company owned by Abhishek who is the son of Brij Mohan Agrawal.

Now, Lalit Chandranahu of Kisan Mazdoor Party has written an allegation against Brij Mohan Agrawal and his family to the collector stating that the said land belonged to the forest department of the Chhatisgarh state and Brij Mohan Agrawal and his family has bought it using his power as the cabinet minister of the state. This was also brought to the attention of the Chief Minister Mr Raman Singh who has ordered his Chief Secretary to look into the matter and provide him with a detailed report. However, till date nothing has come against Brij Mohan Agrawal’s family.

From this, it is very clear that it is the dirty politics of the opposition party to drag not only the MLA but also brijmohan agrawal family who are not involved in politics. This is just to defame them and bring a bad name to both the MLA and also his party. It is to be noted that not only Brij Mohan Agrawal but also his family is involved in social work. Now also they are attempting to construct a resort so that it will be useful for the travellers to Sirpur to relax in the resort. But the opposition has taken it as their election weapon to derogate both the politician and the party so that they can win in the upcoming election. It is for sure goes to prove dirty politics by them.
