While a lot of these diets and programs are just fads with no real substance, some are really and truly effective. One such diet plan is whole30. It is so effective that companies now advertise their products by stating that they are whole30 approved. In the grocery store, you can find whole30 approved fruit juice, mayonnaise, coffee creamers, coconut milk, tuna, and many other items.

What exactly is Whole30 diet?

In this diet, the focus isn’t on what to consume but on what not to consume. For 30 days, you do not eat food items which are considered unhealthy. On a whole30 diet, you’ll be avoiding dairy products, grains, alcohol, legumes, baked food items, sugar, and other inflammatory foods.

You can eat a lot of vegetables and drink whole30 approved vegetable juice, a good amount of natural fats such as olive oil, protein such as meat and eggs in reasonsable amounts, a little bit of fruit, and different types of herbs and spices. The key is to consume the food in its original makeup, without adding other outside ingredients; whole30 diet stresses the most on your food being ‘real.’

You need to strictly follow this diet for 30 days to see and feel any kind of change in your body. Even if you mess with your diet only for a day, you could be jeopardizing the whole healing cycle and heading to sqaure one.

 Another important thing is that you do not check your weight during the 30 days. You surely do that before you start the diet and after you are done with but in the middle of it.
