Buying a new home is a big deal. You work for years and then when you finally decide to buy a new house you really want to take no chances with it. There what you need to do is to get your home inspected by the best home inspection services.

There are generally two types of home inspections internal and external. Internal home inspection includes the inspection of the inside of the house that includes electricals, kitchen, ceiling, flooring, heating and furnaces and all the item present inside the house.

External inspection Is the inspection of the outside of the house that includes the roof, level of the house, sloping etc.

Here is a list of a few things that home inspectors look for while inspecting the house.

  • Water-  One of the biggest things that harm our health is water. When water enters the house it may cause a list of problems which is a big no-no for buyers. Water in the basement is a signal of damage in the structure and water on the roof can lead to stains on the ceilings and walls.
  • Structural integrity- Foundations should stay in one place but, over time, water can cause the soil around the foundation wall to expand. When the water goes away, the soil shrinks and the foundation settles, creating cracks and pathways for water to enter the structure.
  • Roof- The roof of the house should be strongest of all. If the roof walls have any cracks or damages that may lead to sever accidents. Home inspectors check the roof for any cosmetic fixtures so that your safety is ensured.
  • Electrical system- Problems in the electrical system can lead to hazardous fire. The home inspectors check for the electrical system in depth so as to make sure there are no loop holes that might lead to some severe cases.
  • Plumbing- The home inspectors check for the plumbing system and might as well check the type of pipes installed in the house if visible and give you an estimate of how old they are and let you know if you need to get them changed.
  • Pest- the home inspectors will also check the house for any infection in the house from insects and pests and suggest with some cures to it.
  • HVAC system- HVAC system stands for heating, ventilation and air conditioning system. The home inspector performs a thorough check on the HVAC system of the house. If there are any major issues found in the system, they will let you know immediately as it can be a bit too expensive to get it fixed or change the whole system.

The bottom line is, it is very important to get your newly bought home get inspected before the finalization of the deal so as to avoid any further damages and save you from losses that might happen in the waking future.
