How to distinguish inferior teas

Drinking pu-erh tea is purported to reduce blood cholesterol. This belief has been backed up by scientific studies not only demonstrating experimental results of lowered LDL cholesterol in rats, but discovering specific mechanisms through which chemicals in pu'er tea inhibit the synthesis of cholesterol. Pu'er tea has been shown to have antimutagenic and antimicrobial properties as well.

As the atmosphere of drinking tea is getting stronger, more and more people will choose Puer tea, and convenient, fast and cheap e-commerce has gradually become an important channel for Puer tea market sales. As a result, many tea friends buy Pu-erh tea today because they listen to the seller. They believe what they say, and they have no opinion of themselves. In this way, it is easy to buy so-called "tuition tea"!

In fact, the main reason is that tea friends are not likely to distinguish the difference between good tea and inferior tea, and their own knowledge of tea is insufficient, so good tea is also missed by themselves! The quality of Pu-erh tea is mainly composed of two aspects. The first is the shape, look at the rope, look at the shape, and smell. The second is the overall performance after opening the soup, which is generally identified from the four aspects of smell, soup color, taste, and leaf bottom.

Many tea friends know what is good Pu-erh tea, but they still can't tell the difference, then we change the angle and start from the low-quality Pu-erh tea. The characteristics of low-quality Pu-erh tea are mainly caused by poor technology or raw materials. What are the main characteristics?

1, appearance.
(1) Strips are certain specifications of various types of tea, and teas that are flat, thorny, and broken are generally not good teas.
(2) Tea sticks have few buds, thin bud leaves, and old and tender mixed teas are not good.
(3) The color of tea leaves is closely related to the tenderness of raw materials and process technology. Try not to buy tea sticks that are yellow, withered, dark, mottled, and dull.
(4) Tea cake smells dry straw, "cooked scent", musty, mixed with smoke, coke, coriander, sour and other strange odors. Try not to buy such tea. There is another type of tea that smells particularly fragrant, and does not buy a bit of mung bean flavor. This kind of tea is highly flavored and will not taste well.
(5) If tea leaves are mixed with more tea flakes, tea stalks, tea powder, tea seeds and bamboo shavings, wood chips, lime, sand and other inclusions mixed in the production process, such tea shows that the process is very bad, Don't buy it!

In general, the cords are tight and the buds are fine, indicating that the raw materials are good, and the color is uniform. The scent of tea smells good, indicating that the craftsmanship is good; if the shape is loose and broken, and there are smoke and burnt flavor, it means that the raw materials are old. Poor workmanship and poor quality.

2, after soup.
(1) Those who have dull, turbid, and poor brightness (except for new tea) in tea soup indicate that there are problems with the tea process.
(2) Those who have a light taste, are light and tasteless, or the tea is separated, and those with heavy water, bitterness, dullness, and lack of sweetness are all inferior tea.
(3) The leaves have fewer buds, more tea stalks, mixed stains, hard and crisp texture, and uneven length and size.
(4) If you find any other sundries in the bottom of the leaf or soup, do not buy it, and you don’t have to listen to any explanation from the seller.
The tea soup with good tea is bright or translucent and clear. The entrance is bitter and harmonious and can be quickly opened. The watering return is obvious, the waterway is delicate, and the throat is long.
