Instead, the keeper batsman of England team focuses to be better and hopes to replicate the likes of Virat Kohli, Davis Warner, and Faf du Plessis. On best in the lot Jos Buttler the star keeper batsman of England team was outstanding in their last World Cup in 2019. But since then he has been unable to show the same calibre in the 50-over format. In five matches against South Africa and New Zealand, he could not contribute much with the highest score being 43 runs. He is still given a chance in England’s upcoming tour to Sri Lanka and the 29-year-old is not ready to give up. In an interview he said that he is eager to perform like some of the world-class batsmen. He said, “There’s a crop of guys who are the best in the world, and they’re the best across all formats. They manage to do it.” He then added, “But the best players can play all formats. You want to play all the games, be involved in all the formats. I certainly do.” On poor form While asked about his form the English man said that some bad showings do not become a bad player overnight and is looking forward to do well in future ventures. “You’ve always got to be positive. Obviously I haven’t played as well as I’d have liked in the majority of the winter, but you don’t become a bad player overnight so I’m looking to repay some faith and get back to playing my best cricket.” He signed off by saying, “When you’re playing well you feel like you make the right decisions a lot of the time.
