3 important myths to expose about spinal decompression!!

Long sitting hours in the office, less workout and stretching sessions often lead to lower back pain. Without any warning or known symptoms, you surprisingly and severely get surrounded by this problem that restricts you from performing different tasks. You are unable to bend down, lift something heavy, and do some strenuous exercise and many more. It becomes a hell lot of problem to survive and conduct daily chores. 

Due to the immense amount of stress on the spine, the disc that supports the entire structure gets moved. The level and intensity of the disc movement define the pain that you have to bear. It is a therapy in which the therapist uses a gentle pulling action through the spine to create an extended effect.

The process is dangerous and can damage the spine  

People think that therapists forcefully work on the spines to locate the disc in the right place. They also have a thought that the process can never get complete without pressure. To remove the concept, we would like to mention that therapists use gentle force on the spine and slowly decompress it. Thus, it effectively relieves the pressure and compression on the disc. It will never damage the spine. 

Myth 2# 

The therapy is painful 

Like other physiotherapy and chiropractic process, people consider that even spinal decompression is also very painful. To your surprise, it is not. We would like to mention that with the latest advancement in technology, the spinal decompression machines used does not give any pain to the patients. You will just feel a deep stretch and pressure reduction during the process that will go away once the process is complete. 

Myth 3# 

The therapy provides quick healing 

People think that the therapy is very advanced and will quickly heal the issue but they are wrong on some point. The process is advanced by this does not mean that it will instantly relive. The therapy is for 20 to 30 minutes and you have to take a minimum of 5 sessions. If the pain is controlled, it is fine otherwise sessions will be increased.
