Decorate Your Home with Teddy Bears

 Many people enjoy collecting teddy bears, because they look classic, especially when they are wearing different teddy bear outfits.  However, when the number of these collections becomes too many, they become unsure how to put them on display.  Most collectors just put them in shelves.  The larger ones are placed in closets for lack of space.  If you want your teddies to be enjoyed by yourself and those who enter your home, you can decorate your home using these teddy bears.  These toys are of different kinds, such as the furry and cuddly ones, and the figural bears made from wood, crystal, and other materials.  Whatever material they are made of, they sure can be an important part of your home décor.

1.  You can make your teddy bears look attractive on shelves by propping them up using pretty boxes, books, picture frames, small ladders, or other bears.  You can form an ornamental design by arranging them properly to look pleasing.

2.  If you are tired of seeing your teddy bears on shelves, you can use them to replace your throw pillows. 3 to 5 teddies on your couch, and 1 each on every chair will enhance the look of your living room.  Large and fluffy bears are ideal for this purpose. You can also make small scenes by positioning them like they are having a picnic and having fun, or like they are in a group interacting with one another, discussing something interesting.

3.  For the holiday-themed decoration, you can use the teddies to supplement your  home décor.  During Christmas season, you can put some teddies with a white and red teddy bear outfit under your Christmas tree.  The smaller ones can be put inside stockings.  For Halloween or birthdays, you can place one teddy on a ceramic pumpkin. For any time of the year, however, you can group them according to bear types.  For example, group all polar bears together and do the same with the black bears.  Grouping them according to materials used (wood, crystal, etc), is also a great idea.

4.  Like most collectors, you, too may have a favorite bear.  Give your bear not only a nice teddy bear outfit but also his own chair, most preferably a rocking chair.  Teddy bears placed in their “throne” will give any room a rustic feel. The room should be where you stay most of your time, so you get to enjoy your number one bear every time you are there.

Teddy bears in different teddy bear outfit, when used as part of your home décor, give you the benefit of enjoying them whenever you are at home.  So position them where you will feel happiest and then admire your collections.  Their positions must be rotated regularly so the furs will not fade unevenly, if their location is under direct sunlight during a certain time of the day.  The furs also need to be dusted or brushed periodically, as a means of maintaining their cleanliness.  You need to take care of your collection if you want them to always look new and pleasing for a long time.
