Carve out time to unwind

Yes, there are a thousand things to do when the holiday season arrives. However, you need to carve out some time for yourself to relax at the end of a long day. There are, of course, Christmas presents to buy and wrap for your family and friends, but there is no reason you can’t spend a few minutes at the end of each day to unwind.

Exercise

You might think that exercise is not relaxing at all, but when you exercise, feel good endorphins are released. Spend a little time exercising, even just for a few minutes, and you may feel a little more unbend. It doesn’t have to be a full on sweat fest, but even a few minutes of exercise can make a difference in your day and help you feel more relaxed.

Light a candle

There is something special about lighting a candle. They delight the senses! A lit candle provides a beautiful, warm glow in the room. If you get a candle that has a beautiful fragrance it can help you relax even more. You don’t have to spend a lot of money on a candle.
