Yeah, the problem is that Rogues were the first class with dual resources and yet Blizz hasn't applied everything they've learned since to them. Buy WOW Gold.I guess we're finally getting Combo points on us instead of the target in WoD, or combo points will instantly transfer between targets - not sure, but that should've been done years ago. Look at DKs, look at Pallys, look at S.Priests, look at Monks, etc. All classes with dual resources and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM places the resource on the player, not the target. Blizz learned from Rogues, but left us in freakin' purgatory for 7+ years.

The other thing you'll notice is that those classes with dual resources that don't use mana don't double-dip for their abilities. As a DK, for example, you use your runes to generate runic energy, and then use runic energy while your runes recharge. No ability requires BOTH a rune and runic energy. Similarly, Pallies use their mana to do attacks that generate Holy Power, then use Holy Power for other attacks, nothing uses both. Monk DPS feels smooth because you use energy to build Chi, then use Chi for other attacks. Again, nothing uses BOTH energy and Chi.

That's how Rogues should be. We use energy to build combo points, then when we use Eviscerate or Envenom, it shouldn't cost BOTH combo points and energy. Yes, perhaps the damage on those abilities would need to come down a little for balance, but it would feel smoother to play. Our finishers that require combo points should NOT also cost energy. It's an old, poor design that they have learned from, but haven't freed Rogues from it yet.
