Portable Brain Monitoring Technology to Be Dispensable, Especially During Covid-

Brain monitoring systems enable scientists and physicians to analyze brain activities, brain diseases, and brain-machine interfaces (BMI). Recent advances in this monitoring technology have allowed scientists and physicians to identify abnormal brain activity before it becomes too late. Moreover, portable brain monitoring technology is expected to be dispensable, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Currently, a number of medical devices, ranging from scalp electrodes and wearable monitors to computer software and web-based programs, are being developed to monitor brain activity and provide doctors with valuable information to help determine the course of treatment for patients. These applications provide the potential to save lives and offer doctors a way to provide assistance to patients with brain disorders.

One of the most exciting new technologies is brain monitoring systems that are available for individuals with epilepsy and other brain disorders. With these systems, doctors can monitor an individual's brain activity at any time with ease and accuracy. The electrodes worn on the scalp by patients deliver continuous signals to a special computer. When the patient moves or speaks, a sensor detects the change. The computer recognizes that the change in brain function indicates changes in the brain and sends a signal to the appropriate device.

In addition to tracking the electrical activity of the brain, some EEG and MEG systems can also track muscle tone, mood, cognitive performance and heart rate. By using these tools to detect brain activity, doctors can make decisions about treatment based on the results and the potential benefits of the treatment. For patients with a brain disorder, such as Alzheimer's disease, or those experiencing seizures, doctors can monitor brain waves using specialized EEGs. The technology used in brain monitoring systems for people suffering from brain diseases and conditions is much more accurate than it was in the past.

Brain monitoring programs are available in various types and varieties. These include portable, handheld, tabletop, hospital grade, and even "treadmill monitors." Portable EEG monitors allow for constant monitoring at different locations and speeds. The portable EEG monitors can be used on the go, allowing the patient to continuously monitor their brain activity while they travel or while resting. The handheld monitors can be used while the patient is at work or while exercising, allowing them to track their brain activities while working out.
