Preparing for your examinations and not knowing where to start? For most students, it's common to feel the pressure. If you not planned accordingly to complete the required syllabus in advance, the final days can be very stressful.

But, is it very much possible to get an ace in the exam just one day before by preparing for it? Not at all at all. Success won't happen overnight. Consistency and continuous efforts are the keys to success. Regular learning practice helps to obtain a good score in the long term.

Last-minute cramming avoided

Students typically thrive on last-minute cramming. This is not accepted at all as the best way to prepare for examinations. Prepare a study schedule or a time table, instead of leaving everything to the last minute. Get yourself time to plan and prepare for exams, and start preparing as early as possible.

Prepare a schedule for the subjects to be covered by the syllabus, the amount of time you can allocate for each subject, etc. Plan a day-wise schedule and prepare it. Also, schedule enough time to revise everything you have studied until then.

Starting the preparation early helps to have enough time without any haste to understand the concepts fully. This is only the best way to understand the subject and excel in the field fully.

Keeping a healthy lifestyle

Good health leads to a healthy diet. In fact, regular exercise for a few minutes a day contributes to a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, maintaining a healthy diet and exercising helps increase the brain's concentrative power and grasp and remember the concept.

Manage to do regular exercise for a certain amount of time, such as walking, jogging, running, dancing, etc. Include doing your favourite thing that strains your body for some time in your schedule. Ultimately, it refreshes your mind, makes it calm and enhances your memory.

Experts say that only 20 per cent of health contributes to workouts. All of the remaining 80% is in the diet or healthy food you consume. Consume foods that are high in fibres and carbohydrates. Foods that are high in fat and low in carbs should be avoided. Unhealthy food leads to a decrease in the level of output. For better outcomes, make fresh veggies, fruits, almonds, etc. as part of your diet.

Importantly, sleep plays a key role in the maintenance of stress levels. It is extremely beneficial to get the necessary sleep to reduce stress and concentrate more on the job. So, sleeping for at least 7-8 hours a day is a lot of sleep.

Clean and organize your space for studying.

To concentrate on what you are studying, organizing your study space is very important. Take out all the distractions, such as computer games, CDs for music or movies, etc. Pay attention to all the information on what needs to be on the study table and what needs to be deleted.

To study, clean your room and arrange the necessary textbooks, notebooks, pens, etc. Therefore, an organized study space helps to focus more on the subject or topic you are preparing for.

Importantly, to concentrate on your work, ensure the room is sufficiently bright. Ensure that good ambience is available in the room or near the table. Therefore, make your room comfortable enough to focus without any distractions on what you do.

Taking Breaks

It is extremely tiring and draining to study without breaks all day or all night. To reduce stress on the brain, take a couple of breaks during study hours. Taking regular breaks allows for efficient memorization.

Moreover, it's vital to take the necessary notes while studying. It helps to revise your concepts better and retain information.
