The model uses the Discounted Cash flow or DCF Excel Template to obtain the present value of the company. This DCF Excel Model uses a three statement model to identify the free cash flows and discount it to the present value. As simple as it sounds, the DCF Excel Model identifies the present and future cash flows of a company and obtains its present value. From that point on, we add all the discounted free cash flows and obtain the company valuation based on the cumulative value of the annual cash flow.
