What properties does a microphone have?

1. Compared with the polymer diaphragm of ECM, the efficiency of MEMS microphone is very stable under various temperature changes and is not affected by temperature, vibration, humidity and time. MEMS microphones can withstand high temperature reflow soldering at 260°C without changing overall performance. This microphone manufacturer saves the cost of changing mp3s during production as there is little improvement in the perceived amount of front and rear settings.

2. Most microphones are electret condenser microphones (ECM), a technology that has been around for a few years. ECM operates by using polymer diaphragms with durable cost isolation

Next, MEMS microphones require the ASIC to provide an external surface bias, although the ECM does not necessarily have this bias. An effective bias will maintain stable acoustic and electronic rules over the entire operating temperature range. External biasing of the MEMS chip also allows for microphone styles with different sensitivities.

4. The actual size of traditional ECM is generally larger than that of MEMS microphones, and SMT surgery cannot be performed. SMT reflow simplifies the production method and can even omit production steps.

5. There is no difference between IC and electret condenser microphones in terms of emitting and absorbing electricity, but this is indeed a technology that is already in use. In electrets, the IC has to be added, and in MEMS microphones, the ability to invest more is only part of the IC. The main advantage of this extra feature is that the microphone has an excellent power rejection level compared to the ECM. That is, when the supply voltage changes, it is likely to be effectively suppressed.
