Wii: Super Mario Galaxy 2 ReviewPosted by Branin on August 11th, 2010 The Second Mario Galaxy is Here with Even More Improvements an a Whole New Galaxy of Random to Explore, Super Mario Galaxy 2 is finally here! Bringing with it a much improved graphics system, an epic camera style, and a cute little fella named Yoshi! Mario Galaxy 2 is alot similar to the first only being slightly more difficult, still having great objectives and a fun storyline SMG2 makes a great addition to the Mario collection. In this article I will be explaining a few new features, and giving my review on the game. At first glance it will appear as if you are playing the first Mario Galaxy, but I assure you, they have their differences! To start, There are seven new Worlds, 49 Levels, and 242 Stars. One major addition are the new Suits/Tools accessible to you which are Cloud Suit, Rock Suit and Drill Tool. I will explain them briefly, starting with the Cloud Suit, this suit is truly epic allowing you to fly right over portions of the level, even making Mario much lighter on his feet which is a really great feature. The Rock Suit allows Mario to steamroll over enemies and makes your *virtually* invincible, however you loose the suit if any damage is somehow taken, and finally, the Drill Tool, which allows Mario to drill through certain areas and small foes, this tool can be helpful at many point in the game is another great feature. Also, Perhaps one of the most notable features and something I mentioned before, Yoshi!, has been added to this title, and he really fits in with various levels of this game, I must admit. So there you have it, new features, new levels, and a brand new Mario game that will be loved for years to come. I welcome Mario Galaxy 2 to the collection of Mario Titles, if you own a Wii this is definitely a great game to get, and one of the best new titles for the Wii currently. I thank you for reading over this review and I hope you enjoy the game! Like it? Share it!More by this author |
