Applications and features of boiler castable

Refractory Castables can be divided into different categories according to applications, one of them are boiler castable. Boiler castable are mainly used for power plant boiler, water boiler, warm-supply boiler, industrial boiler and other parts which is likely to be frayed in the high-temperature boilers, such as power plant boiler turn flue, cyclone separator, return device, water-cooled wind chamber, combustion chamber furnace, ignition duct, furnace chassis and so on.

Features of boiler castable are as follows:
1.Excellent wear resistance, alumina at high temperatures produces a series of chemical changes and physical changes, Its main phase is mullite and corundum, one of their characteristics is the hardness, wear resistance is good.

2.High refractorieness, which is about 1790-2000°C.

3.High working temperature, it could be used at the parts which is about 1550°C for a long time.

5.Good thermal shock resistance, resistant to acute or hot changes in the temperature of the larger parts.

6.Resistant to erosion, mainly for solid reractory raw materials, dust, high temperature air.

7.Anti-peeling performance is excellent, no cracking.

8.Construction convenience, by pouring, curing, baking can be put into use after use.
