Mediheal Hospital & facility center boasts of having the most recent technologies to advance its service delivery.  The presence of technology is the hospitals greatest strength (Bohm, 2009).  The facility utilizes the latest technology to serve its clients and deliver quality health care services.  Specifically, the facility has advanced technologies that ensure that the delivery of in vitro fertilization services to its customers is successful.  Moreover, Mediheal Hospital and Fertility Center boasts of having a qualified pool of employees.  The health care delivery is supported by well trained and qualified healthcare professionals that guarantee success and quality. The facility also has an administrative and support team that ensures that the operations at the facility run smoothly. Another strength is that the facility offers relatively cheaper IVF services compared to it competitors.  IVF treatment in Kenya is costly, but Medical offers a cheaper option compared to its competitors.

However, the facility has several weaknesses.  First, its location (Eldoret) limits its ability to reach out to a large populace.  Eldoret is a relatively medium sized town compared to other cities in the country (Sarsby, 2016).  The smaller the town, the smaller the population and the smaller the service it can serve.  The facility is thus unable to render its services to a wider population than it would love to.  The location also means that clients in need of the IVF service have to travel for long distance to reach the facility.

Irrespective of the location, Mediheal Hospital, and Facility center can take the opportunity to their presence and popularize the IVF service (Sarsby, 2016).  Mediheal Hospital and Fertility Centre finds itself in a location with untapped potential.  The facility has the chance to reach out to a population that had most probably given up of accessing IVF services.  The facility has a chance of marketing it services through aggressive marketing strategies and accessing a significant number of clients.

 Mediheal Hospital and Fertility Center has to; however, grapple with the threat of competition (Bohm, 2009).  The facility faces competition from established and larger facilities such as The Nairobi IVF center.  The Nairobi IVF center has been operational for more than ten years and has gained popularity due to the successful IVF treatments it performs.

 The Kenyan population is largely traditional, and thus the concept of IVF remains uncomfortable to many (Nelson, 2015).  Many of the population believes in the natural process of fertilization and conception.  Interventions such as IVF do not sit well with most Kenyans especially those that are rural and uneducated.  Practices such as marrying another wife in case the first wife is unable to give birth are more acceptable than the science of IVF.  On a positive note, Kenya has a population of almost 50 million and thus provides a high population that can benefit from the healthcare services offered at Mediheal Hospital and Fertility Center. There is a significant portion of Kenyans that are educated and understand the value of services such as IVF in improving fertility.

 Technology wise, Kenya has a long way to go regarding adopting technologies that can enhance healthcare delivery.  The country struggles to purchase even some of the most basic but critical technologies such as chemotherapy machines.  Concerning, IVF technologies, the Kenyan population is at the mercy of private healthcare facilities such as Mediheal Hospital and Fertility Center to provide technologies that can boost health care delivery.  In the recent time, the government has been at the forefront in tapping technologies that can benefit the public.  For instance, in the health sector, the government has been working hard to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services at the local level (Rao, & Sivarmakrishna, 2009).  Healthcare facilities have been receiving government support including upgrades to enhance service delivery.

 Regarding the economy, Kenya is a developing nation, and in fact, it is one of the fastest economies in Africa.   The rising economy provides an ideal platform for investors to establish their businesses in the region.   Kenya also provides investors with tax incentives and exemptions that enable foreign investors to set up and run their businesses in the country.

Kenya has laws and regulations that focus on environmental conservation.  Businesses that choose to operate in the country have to get in touch with bodies such as NEMA so as to be informed of the environmental regulations that they must adhere to.  Stiff penalties are provided to businesses and persons that violate the set environmental law and regulations.

 Politically, the government plays a critical role in enhancing business activities in the country.  The government does this by providing regulations that enhance the establishment of businesses (Grünig, & Morschett, 2017).  The government focuses on businesses that are beneficial to the public, for instance, business in the healthcare industry.  Kenya also has an elaborate legal framework within which local and internal investors operate.  The Kenyan government supports foreign investors, and they enjoy some degree of autonomy in the country. The country, however, has to work towards eliminating the problem of corruption that cripples the delivery of services.
