What is the post of MTS?

Multi Tasking Staff post is very important to post though it may not be the highest post in the system. The candidates appointed as the Multitasking Staff are responsible for multi-purpose works. What are SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria?

Following are the necessary criteria that the candidates must fulfill.

Nationality: The candidate must be of the Indian National. The applying candidate must be an Indian Citizen or must belong to one of the privileged group to apply and appear for the examination. Or A subject of Nepal, or A subject of Bhutan, or A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Educational Qualification: Each candidate must have cleared the Metric Examination (10th Pass) from a recognized university or Board. It is necessary to submit your Qualifying Education Certification. In the absence of the 10th Pass certificate, the candidate will be rejected. Also, bring in the original document and photocopy at the time of document verification. The metric certificate is also used as the Date of Birth Certificate.

Age Limit: The candidate must fall in the category of Age between 18-25 years. Age relaxation will be provided to the candidates on the basis of the reserved category they belong to. Staff Selection Commission decides the age relaxation for various privilege groups by keeping the SSC MTS Age limit for General as the basic and minimum criteria. The privileged groups of women, SC, ST, OBC, and Person with Disability, Ex-Servicemen, Defense Personnel, Kashmir Migrant, Central Government Employee all are given one or the other benefits when it comes to the Age Limit.

How to Apply for the Examination?

See to it that you have fulfilled all the eligibility criteria for the recruitment. Once done the candidate can register themselves on the official website of SSC. The candidates would be required to submit their Valid Email ID and Phone Number. Once registered. Use the generated Registration Number and Password to log in. Login on the official website, and click on the application link. Fill in all the necessary details asked. Submit your Scanned Photograph and the Image. Once done, pay the Application fee and print the confirmation page of the application page for the future purpose. The only correctly filled application along with the fees will be accepted and rest will be rejected. Only accepted candidates would be appearing in the examination.
