Conceptual difference

Solid wood is actually a very broad concept generally divided into all solid wood furniture , solid wood stickers, solid wood veneer. It can also be understood in this way that natural wood without artificial processing can be called solid wood without artificial wood. A large part of the wooden furniture on the market is mainly solid wood. The log can actually be regarded as a kind of solid wood furniture, but it is also made of a kind of wood, but its processing and fixing is through stitching.

Difference in performance

The length of the log is generally not more than 40 inches. The material removed is at least 260-320CM and the diameter is not more than 120CM. This is the basic standard for logs. In the case of solid wood, there is no fixed format requirement, as long as it can meet the basic elements of wood. There is no splicing phenomenon on the surface of solid wood, so the physical properties are relatively stable. This is one of the most prominent advantages of solid wood.

Difference in finished product

There are various kinds of solid wood such as peach, birch, white pine, elm, ash, rosewood, oak, rosewood, etc. all belong to the solid wood raw materials. These woods are mainly made into sofas, wardrobes, etc. The products made of raw wood are more used in building materials, crafts and other supplies.

Difference in use

Log products generally have some special processing materials such as papermaking, regenerated cellulose, nitrocellulose and so on. The solid wood is very limited. Most of the solid wood is made of furniture products and some solid wood handicraft carvings.

Conceptual difference between solid wood and logs

Log furniture is very popular because of its original, natural characteristics, which minimizes manual interference with it. In other words, good log furniture does not require a nail. This places very high demands on the process. And solid wood furniture is more extensive. Some solid wood furniture, even just solid wood for the frame, and there is an unwritten rule in the industry that furniture with a solid wood content of 30% can be called "solid wood furniture."
