When it comes to a movie like “Fifty Shades of Grey”, the fans will go to any lengths to see a preview of the movie it seems. The Internet was lately seen hosting many fan-made versions of the “Fifty Shades Movie” trailers. The 50 Shades Movie which is set to release in February 2015 has already seen many new developments taking place. The first development was definitely Charlie Hunnam moving out of the venture. The English actor was the initial choice as Christian Grey, who has a taste for BDSM inspired lovemaking. Being a familiar face on television, Charlie Hunnam, the star of “Sons of Anarchy”, cited his commitment to this television series and walked off almost unceremoniously.

Charlie Hunnam’s exit from the venture saw the release date being pushed back by more than a couple of months and the casting team were sent into a tizzy looking for the right Mr. Christian Grey. And while many new and seasoned faces and names have come up in the process of recasting, ultimately the role went to Irish actor Jamie Dornan. Though the shooting has already started in Vancouver, and the stills and videos from the shoot prove that he has been a wise choice, the film still has a long way to go before it can be released. The NC-17 rating, and the ever growing ensemble cast are definitely pulling the right crowd.

When Dakota Johnson was cast in the role of Anastasia Steele, she was still a fairly unfamiliar who was better known as the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. But now that she has started shooting in a provocative and sexually charged movie, where she is playing a coy college graduate, Hollywood producers and directors, have started sitting up and taking notice of her prowess. The movie not only talks of fairly new faces like that of Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, but also of seasoned actresses like Marcia Gay Harden who is playing the role of Christian Grey’s adopted mother.

The movie also gets a lot of weightage from employing an Oscar winner like her and also some of the other familiar faces like Rita Ora, who is set to play Grey’s adopted sister. At the core of the film, fans will argue that it is much more than a pheromone driven film which catches the lead pair in bondage gear. Some might also say that the film is a love story and there could not be a better time to release the film than at Valentine’s Day weekend in 2015. But love story or no love story, “Fifty Shades of Grey” has a lot of takers.

The hardcore BDSM loving fan would want to watch the more explicit NC-17 rated version of the film and the fans who essentially see the love story between Grey and Steele, would want to see the toned down version. The producers and the director, Sam Taylor-Johnson has hinted that they would not disappoint either school of fans and would release both the versions, in quick succession.
