Abstract

The paper relates to the issues surrounding the launch of a new cheese product. The writer concentrates on six core issues. They include how to host free samples, the content and types of events to use. The last part will give insight into the motivation behind the argument and the outcome for clients.

Introduction

The paper answers six challenging questions after reading a text about a new cheese brand that the company wants to launch on the market.

1. How might this brand go about hosting free sampling of its new Mac-N-Cheese for its Millennial Parent consumers? Where would these samplings take place? How would you get the word out to parents to come out and taste?

The organization can liaise with other businesses that sell products that are complementary to cheese, e.g. bread industries. This technique would work best at stores and other outlets that sell cheese. The company should deploy promotion people at these places. They should stay at strategic places where customers get to see that there is a promotion taking place e.g. at the entrance and exits. Once the customers buy the complementary products, they are then given a free sample on their way out. 

2. What content can be created to support the news of the announcement, to increase media engagement for this new Mac-N-Cheese formula? For example: social media campaigns, Instagram ads, Twitter hash tags, online contest, and etc.  Remember to think outside of the box.

With the help of social media, the marketing team can develop groups, or pages where people get to interact. For example in twitter, they can have a hashtag for the cheese product. In Facebook and Instagram, they can have groups or pages where they invite people to share about the brand. Furthermore, they can include links where people get to answer some questions and get prizes or free samples as rewards.

3. What type of event could this brand host to create a mass awareness to support the news of its announcement of its new Mac-N-Cheese formula?

The company can organize a fun day event for kids. This game would be useful since most parents would love to take their children out for some fun especially since the weather is favorable. There should be all sorts of activities that children enjoy e.g. Mary go round, bouncing castles, face painting, etc. at this event the company should have a big tent where people go and get refreshments. They should use these points for promoting the new product by giving samples.

4. If you were the Account Manager on this project and had an unlimited budget with no client guidelines, restrictions, or barriers what is an over the top way you would promote this announcement in the spring.

I would plan for a big concert and invite famous artists to the event.

5-Inspiration: What trend, observation or target audience insight inspired your idea?

Currently, many businesses are using influential people as a marketing strategy for their products. Besides, this tactic seems to be working as the customers associate the product with a person they admire.

6-Impact: What outcome will result for the client?

The client will have three months to decide whether they prefer the new improved brand as opposed to their earlier one. This time will determine whether they embrace the changes or not.

We have been answering six questions regarding a new cheese brand in the market. The media content, developing events and sampling exercise were the basis for answers
